Team Full Circle spent this weekend in Spartanburg, South Carolina at USFFC 29 “Shadows of Enmity”.  We have prepared for this fight or months.  Both Tony “The Tyrant” Rogers and Alex “The Predator” McBride were under weight and very ready to get in the ring.  Even though we were prepared, sometimes things go wrong and they don’t happen the way you want them to.  A true warrior learns from every situation and how to prevent the mistake from happening again.  We are so proud of our warriors at Full Circle MMA.   

While Tee and Alex were both scheduled to fight, Tees fight with Sean was cancelled the day before the fight.  The promoter, Scott Price tried to find another fighter willing to go against Tee but finally had to cancel the fight Saturday afternoon altogether when there were no takers.  Tee was extremely disappointed and cursed like a sailor when he found out that he would not be able to get in the ring.  Thankfully, the people that heard him were fighters and knew how it feels when you prepare for months to do battle and then you are stopped at the last minute.   

On Nov 5th Tony “The Tyrant” Rogers and Alex “The Predator” McBride will compete at USFFC 29 in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina.  The Tyrant will fight at 155lbs; 10lbs above his normal weight class of 145lbs.  Needless to say his weight cut is going beautifully.  This is an interesting fight for us.  The Tyrants opponent, Sean Coates holds the 155lbs belt now.  Sean took the belt that The Tyrants Brother, The Snake, surrendered over a year ago!   Sean has successfully defended his belt and is an all-around elite athlete that we are looking forward to competing against.The Tyrant wants the belt back in Marshall NC.  It represents the tenacity and grit of people from the mountains and he takes it personally.  He is seeing visions of ….. Blood and mayhem and other ugly stuff!  This is going to be a brawl!  It is going to be a GREAT fight against a tough opponent and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

On Nov 5th Alex “The Predator” McBride and Tony “The Tyrant” Rogers will compete at USFFC 29 in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Alex is fighting at 115lbs, and is having a great weight cut.  Her walk around weight when she started was only 119lbs so she still gets to eat dark chocolate.  Alex has worked hard to stay in shape physically and mentally for the last 6 months.  Not only has she grown as a fighter, but the whole club has grown as well.  There is a lot more support for her in the community and she is recognized as an inspiration for all of the little girls in the Mountains. (:While I can’t wait to see the new techniques The Predator has learned in the ring; what I really can’t wait to see is an Alex that has confidence in herself and isn’t afraid to fight and stand up for herself.  Anyone that fights The Predator knows when they fight her.  They never forget quickly. It is going to be a GREAT fight against a tough opponent and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
